Private Water and Sewer Assessments

For over 25 years, Chesapeake Capital has been providing developers and builder/developers in the State of Maryland the ability to monetize the Private Water and Sewer Assessments which they create during the land development process. Many developers and builders, both public and private, have utilized the sale of these Assessments to Chesapeake Capital to accelerate asset turnover and to provide low-cost, hassle-free capital for future phases of their projects or for seed-equity in future projects. In 2023, Chesapeake Capital expanded its Private Water and Sewer Assessments business into the state of Delaware through the creation of Delaware Private Utilities, LLC.
